GERS hero Alfredo Morelos could be set for a reunion with a familiar Hoops flop.
Former Celtic man Efrain Juarez, now managing Mexican team Pumas UNAM, is reportedly keen to sign the Colombian up after a stellar treble winning season.
The duo worked together at Atletico Nacional but the gaffer has now moved on with the club's unwillingness to progress with signing El Buffalo cited as part of the reason for his departure.
Morelos is only a loanee at the Medellin team and is contracted to Brazil's Santos, where Neymar currently plays and who were until recently managed by ex-Rangers boss Pedro Caixinha.
He was sacked last month but before that his hardball negotiations were the reason Nacional couldn't land a permanent deal for the striker.
But local news outlet El Meridiano is reporting that he is one of a number of players Juarez has his eyes on to strengthen his new outfit.

"Morelos was a key part of Juárez's journey at Nacional and would be the ideal forward Pumas is looking for to strengthen their team.
"This season with Nacional, the Córdoba-born forward has played 20 matches, scoring 6 goals and providing 5 assists.
"El Búfalo, as Morelos is known, plays for Atlético Nacional on loan and is still a member of the Brazilian club Santos."
The ex-Parkhead man's adoration for the former Ibrox star is clear.
Speaking previously to SunSport, he said: “As soon as I came here, I sat with Alfredo and I could see in his eyes he is a really good person with a good heart.
“Physically, he’s a tough guy. But when you eventually see his smile and he really talks to you, then you see an unbelievable person.
“At the beginning we made a deal. I said he would get everything from me and all I expected in return was everything from him.
“Now he is one of my leaders and we have an unbelievable relationship. On the pitch, he’s the same Alfredo that was in his prime at Rangers.
“He’s pushing himself, pressing high, keeping the ball, scoring goals, fighting for the team. I trust him 100 per cent.”
