NORMAN, Okla. (WAFF) - The Alabama softball team’s season ends in the opening round of the NCAA Super Regionals, falling via mercy rule 13-2 to Oklahoma.

Oklahoma’s eight-run third inning put the Tide in a hole early on. The Sooners used their power at the plate to their advantage, launching four home runs in the game.

Alabama’s two runs came on solo home runs by Kali Heivilin and Marnie Giles.

The Crimson Tide finished the season with a 40-23 overall record.
